Scott A. Dean is a graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He is a Licensed Funeral Director. He has a bachelor degree from the University of Phoenix in Criminal Justice. He is a Volunteer Paramedic/ Firefighter for Sebring. He is a retired Alliance City Police Officer and Retired Beloit Fire Chief. Scott has lived in the area all his life and looks forward to serving families in their times of need. He has dedicated his whole life to public service. He enjoys time with his wife and 2 children as well as hunting and spending time outdoors.
Tonya is a Graduate of Southeast High School In Ravenna, Ohio. She obtained her Associate's Degree from Stark State College in North Canton, Ohio in Respiratory Care. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Apollo College in Respiratory Care with an emphasis in management. Lastly, she obtained her Master's Degree in Adult Education from the University of Phoenix. She is the owner of Almost Home Event Center in Sebring. She enjoys helping others and giving back to the community. She and Scott have 2 adult children who have recently graduated from The University of Mount Union. God has blessed me and I love to return these blessings to others:)
Astro is a valued member of the staff. He can be found in the building doing multiple functions during times of need. He is a recent graduate of the University of Mount Union with a major in theater and a minor in religious studies. He attended the University of Mount Union on multiple scholarships for music and theater. He recently started his funeral home apprenticeship and is also helping at Almost Home Event Center. He is also licensed to perform weddings and funerals.
Zachary is an active member of the support staff. He can be seen during services in the parking lot, on the front door, and on removals. Zachary is a graduate of The University of Mount Union in Middle School Education. He is employed full time at West Branch Early Learning Center as an Intervention Specialist. He is also an assistant Soccer Coach at West Branch High School for the Girls Varsity Soccer program and the Head Coach for the Girl's JV Soccer program. He is also a licensed soccer referee.
James Hubbs retired from Sebring Fire Department. He can be seen doing maintenance around our facility, working services, and or helping with transports. He is married with adult children. He also has two granddaughters. He lives locally in our community. He enjoys camping and spending time with his family.
Ralph Hayes is a Graduate of Ravenna High School. He served in the Marine Corps from 1970-1973. He is retired from the Eaton Corporation and is married to his wife Julia with adult Children and Grandchildren. Ralph can be found helping with services, helping with removals, and or driving the hearse. We are proud to have him as part of our staff.
Remi can be seen around the funeral home to offer grief support to those in need. He is a friendly warm relief to those who are grieving.
In Memory: Richard L. Dean is the Owner- Funeral Director of Dean's Funeral Home. He established the Funeral Home in 1993. He is a graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and Kent State University. Richard has been a resident of the Sebring area all his life and enjoys giving back to his community. Richard earned his angel wings in Feb of 2019. He will be remembered for his compassion and generosity towards others. We will see you on the other side.
In Memory: Irene Dean the Office Manager of Dean's Funeral Home. Irene handles day to day operations in the office. She is a life time resident of the Sebring Area and a graduate of Sebring McKinley High School. Irene earned her angel wings in August of 2019. She is remembered for her love of her family and her strong faith and love of God.
In memory of Terrie. Terrie was a graduate of Ravenna High School. She attended Purdue University. She retired from Robinson Memorial Hospital after 30 years of Service. She obtained a vast amount of experience in office management, with life experiences. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her fur babies.
In Memory of: Woodrow "Butch" Dean is retired from American Steel Foundation. Butch can be found doing many jobs at the funeral home. He can be observed doing removals and in the parking lot. He is also the Right Hand Man of Richard Dean. Uncle Butch earned his angel wings in 2017.
