Alliance; William C. Ludt, age 82 passed away November 30, 2017 at Canterbury Villa following a long illness. He was born in Alliance, Ohio to Ivan and Doris (Yates) Ludt. William was a member of the Sebring Nazerene Church, and employed as a steel worker at Alliance Drop Forge, he was a Veteran of the Air Force and a member of the American Legion. He loved motorcycles and making things (wagons for the grandchildren), loved family and grandchildren, model cars, and was a story teller and yarn spinner. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Patricia (Cleary) Ludt. Daughters ;Jolie (David) McMann of Texas, and Wanda Phillips of Alliance. Sons; James (Joy ) Ludt of Alliance, and Robert (Mary) Ludt of Lisbon. Sister; Pauline Wayne of Homeworth. Eight grandchildren ,thirteen great- grandchildren, and four great- great-grandchildren Cousin; Donnie O'Dell of Alliance, and Aunt; Freda O'Dell. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his sister ,Dorothy Jacobs, brothers; Howard and Albert Ludt, uncles Bob and Dick O'Dell. A Memorial Service will be held Friday December 8, 2017 at 6 P.M. at the Sebring Nazarene Church with Pastor Mike Kimball officiating.
