Trent Clayton, age 51 of Alliance passed away on June 14th. He died enjoying what he loved most fish, family, and the ocean (probably in that order). Trent's love for the calm and peaceful tide is only contested by his passion for some of the loudest machines ever to disrupt Stark country, including but certainly not limited to a '89 Sunsport, a cherry red Mini Coop, and the coolest Harley Davison. He is survived by his wonderfully wild wife, Christy Clayton (Mayle). Christy and Trent married in 1997 in a haze of hairspray and hair gel but found they still loved each other when their hair was shorter than the Empire State Building. He is survived by the two crazy kids they had Taylor (22) and Reese (15). Trent and the kids were known to binge-watch Marvel movies together and discuss hobbyist aquatics. Trent also leaves behind the fluffiest and chunkiest cat ever, Casey who will deeply miss one less human to give her treats. In addition to his immediate crazies, I mean family he leaves behind his parents Jeffery and Elaine Clayton, and his two older brothers Todd and Scott Clayton. He is preceded by his nephew Jacob Clayton, and a disk in his lower back. A celebration of life with be held Tuesday, July 2nd from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Overlook Pavilion at Walborn Reservoir. His family invites all who knew the best Dad ever (Trent) to join in remembering him. There is no better place to celebrate him, outside, fishing, tacos, and family. The family requests no black clothing and to bring you the best memories to share. Kids are welcome and will be provided with sugar. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a GoFundMe page to support his wife and son. Trent left a lasting legacy of unwavering support and love for lime popsicles that will live on.
