Thomas E. Stout, a devoted servant of God and loving family patriarch, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024, at the age of 78. Born on August 13, 1946, Thomas lived a life rich in faith, commitment, and unconditional love, profoundly impacting everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.
For over decades, Thomas stood steadfast in his role as Assistant Pastor at the Holy Lamb of God Church, he brought light to his congregation. His dedication to God was unwavering; it shaped his character and imbued his personality with strength, value, and kindness. Known for his stern but compassionate demeanor, he was a guiding light both in and out of the church, inspiring countless individuals through his teachings and personal example.
Thomas took immense pride in his family, cherishing each moment spent with his beloved wife, Rosie (Wilson) Stout, with whom he shared an incredible partnership of 60 years. Together, they nurtured a devoted family that includes their daughters Linda Ashworth and Janine Overholt, their sons Thomas, Eric, and Matthew Stout, as well as sisters Kathy Weatherspoon and Vivian Norris. His legacy as a father was profound, demonstrating to his children the values of love, respect, and faith.
Thomas's pride swelled even further with the addition of 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He adored each of them, finding joy in their laughter and milestones, and fostering connections that intertwined his family into a lasting tapestry of love.
He joins his departed loved ones in eternal rest: his father, Woodrow Stout, his mother, Thelma Smith, and his siblings Elva Carpenter, Edward Stout, and Randy Stout, as well as Leonard Stout , and his grandson; Casey Coxwell. While he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those he held dear.
Thomas will be remembered, not only for the deep love he had for his family but also for his unwavering dedication to his faith and the community. His life commands respect and admiration, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and devotion.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Thomas's life and legacy at the visitation on December 13, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at the Holy Lamb of God, located at 1805 S Freedom Ave, Alliance, OH 44601. A graveside service will take place in the Mt. Union Cemetery beginning at 1:30 p.m. on the same day.
Though he will be profoundly missed, the love he imparted to his family and community will forever remain as a guiding light in their lives.
