Rudy Pierce Sr

North Benton; Rudy "Papa Smurf" Pierce Sr: passed away February 28, 2017 following a short illness with lung cancer surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born July 19, 1940 in Haydenville, Ohio to Charles and Rose (Mount) Pierce, and had worked for Monroe Construction Co. Rudy is survived by his wife Nona Lee (Hatcher) Pierce who he married in 1979. Daughters; Vicky Grizer of Arizona, Delora Siers of Minerva, Fay Greathouse, and Stephanie (Mike) Barringer of North Benton. Sons; Rudy (Beth) Pierce Jr. of North Benton, and Rick Siers of Mogadore. Twenty five grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, son; Michael Alexander, and five brothers. A very special thank you to Stoney Cutright. There will be no services.
