March 10, 1937 — March 14, 2025 Alliance Robert K. Zickefoose, born on March 10, 1937, peacefully passed away in the hospital

with his family around him on March 14, 2025. A dedicated family man and esteemed member of his community, Robert leaves behind a remarkable

 legacy as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

A proud graduate of Buckhannon High School, Robert began his career at Alliance Steel, where he dedicated 32 years of his life, rising to the

 position of foreman. His commitment to his work was matched only by his passion for the outdoors. Robert cherished time spent in nature, enjoying

 activities such as fishing with his dear friend Doug Lanham, hunting, and tinkering in his garage. Robert was a member of several local clubs,

 including the Moose Club, Eagles, and Donte Club, where he made many lasting friendships and enjoyable memories. He was known for his vibrant

 spirit and the joy he brought to those around him.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Helen Read, and sons Robert L. (Maryann) Zickefoose, Carl (Franzie) Zickefoose, and Marvin Zickefoose.

 Robert was also a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and a great-grandfather to ten great-grandchildren, each of whom he adored.

He now joins his late wife, Margie Zickefoose, his late son, Gale Zickefoose, and his late parents, Encil Zickefoose and Mary (Crites) Zickefoose,

 who preceded him. Robert K. Zickefoose will be remembered fondly for his warmth, his love for family, and his passions that brought joy to his life.

 His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
