Robert Rarick

Robert David Rarick age 97, passed away February 14, 2023. He was born May 24, 1925, in Youngstown, Ohio to Frank and Charlotte (James) Rarick. Robert was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed golfing. He was co-owner of Rarick Gift Shop in Alliance. Robert proudly joined the United States Marine Corp in 1942 and participated in action in the Pacific.

He is survived by three sons Robert (Opal) Rarick, Bruce (Sharon) Rarick and Brent (Karen) Rarick. Grandchildren Bradley Rarick, Matthew (Ellen) Rarick, Jamie (Craig) Maternowski, Jeffrey Rarick, Heather Thomas and Michelle Rarick. Step-grandchildren Tom (Stacy) Skelding, Justin Skelding, and Sarah (Troy) Collins. Several great grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Rarick and a brother Frank Rarick.

Robert was a lifetime member of The Elks and volunteered at one time at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital. Family would like to extend their heart felt gratitude to the staff at Stonecreek Assisted Living and Memory Care and Aultman Alliance Hospice for their care and compassion they showed to Robert.

Per Robert's request cremation will take place and a private service. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Cemetery. memorial contributions can be made to Aultman Alliance Hospice.  Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home.
