Richard Rinehart

Richard Rinehart, a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on March 17, 2024, in Canton, Ohio. He was born in Alliance, Ohio on May 21, 1944. Richard was known for his passion for collecting coins, exploring flea markets, and his love for card games.

Richard's proudest accomplishment was being a dedicated family man. He is survived by his sons: Richard (Samantha) Rinehart ll, Michael Rinehart, Joseph (Stacey) Rinehart; his brother David Rinehart; and his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren - Danielle, Aaron, Andrew, Tyler, Jaclyn, Joshua, Ashley, Sarah, Kaitlyn, Zachary - who brought him immense joy and pride.

He was preceded in death by his loving spouse Kathy (Jewell) Rinehart, his father Minor E. Rinehart, mother JoAnne (Campbell) Rinehart, son Robert Rinehart, and sister Grace Ann Knight.

In addition to his immediate family members mentioned above Richard is also survived by extended family and friends including cousins Tom Knight, Ruth Ann Miller and Connie Miller; and cousin Patti Metzgar.

A graduate of Sebring High School will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

The visitation services to honor and celebrate the life of Richard Rinehart will be held on March 23rd at Dean's Funeral Home in Sebring from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Richard's kindness and warmth will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing he was surrounded by an abundance of love from his family and friends.
