Richard A. Kelly, age 67, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 12, 1958, Richard had an unwavering commitment to his family and his work as a truck driver at East MFG, a career that he took great pride in.
Richard was a devoted husband to Cynthia Kelly, who he married on April 19, 1977. Together, they shared 48 wonderful years filled with love and laughter. He was a cherished father to his children, Michael Kelly, Walter Kelly and Angela of Warren. His pride and joy were his 12 grandchildren: Walter Kelly Jr., Richard Kelly, Erionna Kelly, Ariel Kelly, Aliya Kelly, Alivia Kelly, Trevor Kelly, Michael Kelly Jr., Joseph Kelly, Angelina, and Kathryne Downs, who will always remember him for the countless adventures and cherished memories they created together, especially his proudest accomplishment of driving them everywhere.
In addition to his immediate family, Richard is survived by his sisters, Marie Thompson of California, Lula Marshall of North Benton, Joyce Riggins of Alliance, Brenda Kelly of Alliance, Lucille (Robert) Collins of Texas, and Addie (Bill) Winstead of Texas. His family will forever hold dear the memories of Richard, who loved Westerns and enjoyed fishing - hobbies that brought him much enjoyment throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Kelly, his mother, Lena Percy Kelly, and his beloved grandson, Scott, as well as two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation services will be held at Dean's Funeral Home, located at 256 W Ohio Ave, Sebring, OH 44672, on April 28, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Following the visitation, a burial service will take place at Alliance City Cemetery, located at 541 W Vine St, Alliance, OH 44601, at 2:30 PM.
Richard A. Kelly will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of love and devotion to family will continue to inspire those he left behind.
