Paul Duchon, age 73 passed away peacefully on July 29, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Newark N.J on December 6, 1945 to the late August A .Duchon and Imojean (Utt) Horner.
Paul is a Veteran of The United States Navy. He retired from American Steel Foundries after 27 years in1999. . was an avid fisherman ,camping boating and most of all enjoyed hunting in the mountains of W.V. He was the " Jack of all trades" to most who knew him. He loved spending time with family and friends.
He was proceeded in death by father August A Duchon, aunt Loretta Moore, grandpap nephew Timothy Hudgens and his 4 legged friends Sissy, Maddie and Lucky.
He is survived by his wife, Thurza (Yarwood) Duchon. They married July 18, 1979. Daughters: Renee (Michael Uy) Duchon, Angela (Tim) Aebi, and Millie Braham. Son: Adam Duchon. Mother Imogene(Utt) Horner. Sisters: Mary (Glen) Spencer and Betty (Gary) Hudgens. Brother: Bill (Margaret) Horner. 8 nephews, Ten Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchild. Special Friends: John Cohen, Frank Minger, Clarence Smalley, Ronald Fisher, Dennis and Eddy Yarwood.
We would like to thank Harbor Light Hospice for the care and compassion they gave during our time of need.
Visitations will be held at Dean's Funeral home on Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 5pm till 7 pm. A funeral service will be held at 7 pm with Pastor Quint Bryan officiating.
