Patrick Leasure, age 70, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020 peacefully into the loving arms of the Lord. He was born February 23, 1950 to the late William Ivan Leasure (Sam) and Violet Ann ( Bush) Leasure. He is survived by his loving Companion of several years; Mary Savage. She loved him to " The Moon and Back". His Brothers Elmer and Hank (Russell) Leasure. He was preceded in death by his Parents; William and Violet Leasure, His Sisters; Mona, Darlene, Peggy, and Roseanne, and a Brother; Jacob. Patrick was employed for 30 plus years at The American Steel Foundries and Alliance Castings. He will be fondly remembered for his smile, his chuckle, and his favorite sayings, such as Golly! He was very proud and meticulous of his yard. He enjoyed accompanying the Seniors on Senior Fun day. He had a love for Bluegrass music and good old fashioned fish fries. He had some special friends that often gathered to play games; Huey (Liz) Fox, Bertha Cline and Ted Blake. He also had another special friend Josie Philabaum. He was a member of the Beloit Fellowship Baptist Church and dear Friends with Pastor James (Maxine) White. Calling Hours will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2020 from 10am-12pm at Dean's Funeral Home. Due to the recent pandemic; visitation during the calling hours will be limited to immediate family and close friends following the guidelines established by the State allowing a maximum of ten people in at a time. A funeral service will take place at the Funeral Home at Noon with Thom Richardson officiating. A Private Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park following the funeral. In Lieu of flowers; donations may be made in Patrick's honor to the Beloit Fellowship Baptist Church.
