Patricia Shefelton

Beloit: Patricia M. Shefelton 80, entered the presence of her Savior on Sunday Oct 8th, 2017 at 11:48pm, surrounded by family. Pat was born in Alliance Ohio, on July 7, 1937 to Ralph and Freda Dieterich. Pat's first love was Jesus Christ and she praises Him through the good times and bad. Pat was a loving wife, mom, and grandma. Nothing made her happier than sharing the love of Jesus to everyone including strangers, Pat could share Jesus with anyone. Spending time with her favorite people, her grandchildren was her next delight. She was proud of each one and bragged to anyone who would listen to her tell stories or look at the many pictures she always had available. Pat would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on Feb 28, 2018 to the love of her life Frank Shefelton. Pat was a member of Sebring Church of the Nazarene and the Gideons International, where she enjoyed passing out Bibles.

Preceding her in death were her loving parents, brother Joseph Dieterich and precious daughter in law Shari Shefelton. She is survived by her loving husband Frank, 3 children Rick & Judy Shefelton, Russ Shefelton, and Scott and Connie Jackson, 7 grandchildren Rachel and Seth Lackey of Trophy Club Texas, Rev. Marc Shefelton of Buffalo Prairie IL, and fiancAC. Rebecca Zitzow of Davenport IA, Seth, Abbie, Rebecca" Lillie, and Samuel Jackson of Canton, OH.

A memorial service will be held on Thurs evening Oct 12th, 2017 at Sebring Church of the Nazarene at 6pm. Family will receive guests from 5p-6p before the service. The family expands heartfelt thanks to the nurses of Alliance hospital hospice. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Alliance Hospital Hospice or Gideons International.
