North Benton: Patricia Ann Bandy (Haupt), also known as Nana, of Bandy's Campground. She passed away on October 30, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband and lifelong partner, Richard (Dick) Bandy, with whom she built Bandy's Camp Ground. Many years of hard work with Dick lead to her love of owning and running the camp ground, and riding the very first 4- wheeler to be sold in the area. She enjoyed gardening, fishing on Berlin Lake for Walleyes, and taking care of her companions, Pebbie, Annie, and her beloved Cleo. Those are just some of the many things she enjoyed. As she has gone to join her husband, their son, Mark Bandy, Son -N- Law, Jack Macarie, Grandson, James Woody, Parents, Winfield and Anna Marie (Taylor) Haupt, and Parents in Law: Robert and Mary Bandy. Siblings: Scotty and Ethel Haupt, Richard and Mary Haupt, Betty and Moe Simpson, Billie Haupt, Ernie Haupt, Jack Haupt. Sister in Laws, Rochelle and Leonard Jones, and Linda Bandy. Brother in law, Roger Pettit.
She will be greatly missed by Marcy (Jack) and their son, Matt and wife, Kayla, and daughter, Maria Macarie. Laura (Sis) and Keith Woody, Mike and Chris, their children and grand children, and Teri Jo Bandy. Robert Haupt, Brother, Evelyn and Al Sosrenko, Caroline Haupt, Sister n law, Don Bandy, Brother n law, Dale and Marinalda Bandy, Brother n law, and Nola (Toots) Pettit, Sister n law. She will be also missed by her camp ground family, that has grown over the years. Which includes many friends, who called her "Mom" and all who loved her as "Nana". In lieu of flowers family request donations to be made to them to cover medical expenses. Per family request there will be no services.
