Nancy K. Loudin, a cherished matriarch, spirited caregiver, and beloved friend, passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on February 10, 1943, Nancy emboldened her family and community with a warmth that enveloped everyone she encountered. Her life was a tapestry woven with vibrant memories, kind deeds, and an insatiable zest for life.

Nancy was a proud graduate of Atwater High School, where she shone as a track star and a spirited cheerleader. She furthered her education at the W. Howard Nichols School of Nursing, a testament to her lifelong dedication to caring for others. As a nurse, she was known not only for her expertise but for her kindness and compassion, particularly towards the elderly, enriching their lives with her thoughtful presence.

Nancy was renowned for her culinary skills, especially her famous rattlesnake pancakes, pies, and cookies that tantalized the taste buds of all who were fortunate enough to savor her delightful creations. Her title of "Best Nana" was well-earned, as she nurtured her grandchildren with boundless love and laughter. Her connection with each grandchild—Adam, Audrey, Samantha, DJ, Emmy, Nessa, Elijah, Alijah, Jada, and Jacob—was a source of immense joy. Especially Nan's Best friend, Sydney. Great Grandchildren: Nora, Owen, John, Bexley, Grayson, Jamie, Claire, Keegan, Sawyer, Jaxson, and Caroline.

Among her many treasured memories, Nancy cherished her time spent at Atwood Lake, engaging in water events that brought her great happiness. She found joy in playing ball with her beloved fur baby, Mocha, embracing each moment with a youthful spirit. The bond she shared with her family was anchored in love, and they will forever carry her light in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Toot; her mother, Ruth (Donaldson) Toot; her son, Dale Loudin; her brothers, Harry and Bill; and her sister, Shirley. Their memories live on in the stories and experiences shared together.

A special thanks is extended to the dedicated team at Aultman Alliance Hospice, particularly Pat and Kendra, who provided exceptional care and comfort during Nancy's final days.

Left to honor her memory are her loving spouse, James Loudin; sons Robert Loudin, Todd Loudin, and Chad (Stacie) Loudin; daughters Nicole (Brian) Loudin-Vankirk; sister Marie Horning; grandchildren; great-grandchildren, and many friends whose lives were touched by her grace.

Nancy K. Loudin leaves behind a legacy rich with love, laughter, and countless unforgettable moments. May her spirit continue to inspire those who knew her, illuminating their paths just as she illuminated her own life and the lives of so many others.
