Sebring:
Mildred S. Fisher of Sebring, age 95, passed away April 30, 2019 at Crandall Medical Center.
Mildred was born in Sebring, Ohio on February 14, 1924 to Denis and Tenca Papadeonise. She graduated from Sebring High School in 1942 and worked for many years at the White Palace restaurant, which her family owned and operated until 1964. She was a member of the Sebring Presbyterian Church and enjoyed many visits from Reverend Marty Radcliff. She was an avid golfer and member of Sebring Country Club for 40 years. She had many other hobbies including playing bridge, which was one of her favorites.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband William, her parents, brothers Dan, George and James and beloved sister, Pearl Wilson. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Susan Fisher of Wadsworth as well as grandchildren, Brittney (Greg) Eddy, Taylor (Joey) Pifer, and Blake (Casey) Fisher. She also had four great grandchildren, Crew and Capri Eddy and Isla and Hudson Pifer. She had many nieces and nephews but had special relationships with her nieces Mary Ann Cameron and Deborah Thomas, whom she loved very much.
Millie’s family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Copeland Oaks and Crandall Medical Center for all of their compassion and care during the past three years. Also, we would like to thank the wonderful staff of Hospice of the Valley.
