Alliance: It is with great sadness and lots of love that we, her family, announce the passing of Melissa Ann Berry on March 6, 2018. After a long, courageous battle with colon cancer, she has earned her wings and joined our brother, Ray Berry Jr., nephew Christian Berry, beloved grandparents and several others in Heaven. "Oh" the shenanigans that shall begin. "By the way guys, don't get the rest of us banned, please"(quote from Allyssa). She was born in Alliance OH, July 20, 1963; she is survived by her parents Lynn McMichael (Kellogg) of Leesburg, Fl and Ray Berry Sr. (Vernon Lee) of Sebring, sister Kellie Hoyle (Shawn) of Damascus, Oh, Rick McMichael of Texas, Tina May of Sebring, OH and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her daughters, Allyssa Blake of Canton, Courtney Blake of Alliance and Nikki Blake of Canton, her reasons for fighting so hard. She loved her children immensely and will be watching over them always and forever. She also has two older children Nicholas Griffith of Alliance and Erin Griffith of Salem. The family would like to thank Alliance Hospice for all the love and care given these last few years of her battle, and the staff of Community Care Center for all the love and caring they gave her in her final days. Per Missy's request, cremation arrangements were made through Deans Funeral Home in Sebring, OH with no public services. My sister was an adventurous person. She loved riding her motorcycle, traveling to Florida to visit with our mom and dad. She enjoyed, for the most part (22 people in one hotel room, come on personal space...LOL), our many family vacations visiting Disney World and taking over the swimming pool at the retirement community our parents live in. The retirees' never knew what was going on, all these young people taking over their usually quite pool. Her visits to Texas to spend time with our little brother Rick and his family, visiting the Alamo or just sitting quietly on the back porch. Her latest adventure to Florida in November included Gator land and zip lining over the gators. She lived life to the fullest. She will be missed by us all more than words can express. In John 16:33 Jesus said," I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." I can only imagine the love that she experienced rising into Heaven with our Brother there to greet her. Thank you Miss for being the spice in our family, we all love you so much and will miss you! Arraignments are by Dean's Funeral Home, Sebring , Ohio (330)-938-2744 Friends may send their condolences and sign the guest register online at www.deandsfuneralhome.com.
