Martha Livingston

Martha Ann Vanaman Taylor Livingston was born July 2, 1949, in Canton, Ohio to parents Dr.

Clyde Vanaman and Sarah Elizabeth (Cattell) Vanaman. She died at home in Beloit, Ohio on

April 4th, 2025. She is survived by her three children: Laura Taylor (David) Kung of Los

Angeles, California Matthew (Micki) Taylor of Austin, Texas and Anna Livingston (Mark)

Adelsberger of Los Angeles. She also leaves six beloved grandchildren: Emelia Lambros, Estie

Kung, Jonah and Isla Adelsberger all of Los Angeles and Syd and River Taylor of Austin, Texas.

She also leaves three siblings: Valerie Vanaman of Los Angeles, Jane Firestone (Mike) of North

Canton, and David Vanaman (Margaret Skelley) of Herndon, Virginia. In addition to one niece,

Rachel Rader of Chicago, she leaves nephews Jake Vanaman of Virginia, Jason and Eric

Firestone of Ohio and Alex Rader of Los Angeles and many great nieces and much-loved

cousins.

Martha was a 1967 graduate of Alliance High School, and a 1970 graduate of the Johns

Hopkins Hospital School of Nursing in Baltimore, Maryland. She received a BS degree from

Youngstown State and an MS in Public Heath from the University of Pittsburgh. She also

recently her advanced manicuring diploma from the Aveda Institute in Niles, Ohio.

She retired as a Lt Col from the United States Air Force Reserves after serving her country for

20 years while working since 1976 in Public Health Nursing at the county, city and state levels.

Calling hours will start at 11am on Friday, April 25th

at Dean Funeral Home in Sebring, Ohio followed by a brief service at 12pm with her first cousin Pastor Rick Sams officiating. 

Burial will be next to her parents at Quaker Hill Cemetery with Military Honors. Refreshments will follow the burial at Almost

Home Event Center. In lieu of flowers, please make any memorial donations to Golden String,
