We are saddened by the unexpected death of Mark Christopher, age 56,who passed at his Canton home on October 16, 2021. Mark was born in Orrville, Ohio on November 12,1964 to Charles and Jean (Booth) Garbarino Jr:
Mark was not a shy bashful child, he was always friendly & outgoing, making friends easily! You knew it when he was in the room! He attended schools in Cuyahoga Falls, OH and Orange County, CA, graduating from Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton, CA. He spent several years working in Las Vegas before retiring in Canton, OH. People who knew Mark know how proud he was to be a homeowner. He loved growing his tomato garden every year and was generous with his crop, sharing with his loved ones and neighbors. Time with family was very important to Mark & he visited as often as possible. Mark also loved to cook and he made a mean spaghetti sauce from his tomatoes! Often he would be seen dancing in the kitchen to his favorite music as he cooked!
Mark was an avid fan of the NFL Las Vegas Raiders & could be heard loudly cheering them on! His greatest excitement this year was to be selected to carry football celebrities in his car during the Hall of Fame Grand Marshall parade!! He will be missed for his wonderful sense of humor & Frequent laugh!
Mark was predeceased by his father, Charles Garbarino, Jr of Canton, OH. He is survived by his mother, Jean Boba of N. Richland Hills, TX, his brother Dale Booth, Medina, OH, sister Kathy Bjurman of N. Richland Hills, TX, & uncle Wallace Eugene Booth, Jr of N. Canton, OH.
A Celebration of Life for Mark with eulogies & scattering of his ashes was conducted recently by his family and friends.
