Mark "Zeke" Baum

Mark "Zeke" Baum, age 65, of Alliance, Ohio, passed away on February 2, 2025.

Born in Canton, Zeke grew up in Marlboro and graduated from Marlington High School. He worked as a tow motor operator for Green Steel and Marlboro Manufacturing. Known for his quick wit and kind heart, Zeke could strike up a conversation with anyone and never met a stranger.

He had a knack for fixing machines and took pride in his ability to repair just about anything. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, papaw, and friend.

Zeke was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys and Donald Baum; his brothers, Donald "Joe" and Steven "Buzz" Baum; and his nephew, Craig.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; his daughter, Stefanie Baum-Wellhausen; his stepchildren, John Loudin and Delila Fetty; and his nephews, Matt, Justin, Jason, and Jordan Baum. He was a proud grandfather to Hailey, Taylor, Cheyenne, Travis, Tabbitha, Samantha, Sherre, Cody, Jennifer, Heather, and Amber, and a beloved great-grandfather to 18 great-grandchildren.

Zeke's sense of humor, generous spirit, and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will be cherished forever.
