Lonnie J Springer, age 72, passed away at his home with his loving family at his side. He was born October 11, 1950, to Emery and Evelyn (Bedford) Springer. He is survived by his wife, Nancy of 35 years. His children, Michael (Everree)Springer, April (Steve) Tiffany, Christopher (Cheryl) Springer, Josh Springer, Jeremy (Debra) Springer, 5 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, brother, Jim (Sharron) Springer, sister, Joyce Conway, and best friend, Andrew Rohrer. In addition to his parents, Lonnie was preceded in death by his in-laws, John, and Marilyn Baker. Lonnie was a 1969 graduate of Marlington Highschool. He retired from Alliance Community Hospital where he was employed for 35 years in the engineering department. His hobbies included woodworking, doing yardwork, fishing, and building models. He was a member of the Hoover masonic Lodge #770. A special thank you to his boss and fellow co-workers for their attentive visits when Lonnie was at the hospital. They always helped lift his spirits. To celebrate Lonnie, do a random act of kindness, or enjoy the little things in life-listening to the birds sing, or sitting by a fire and enjoying its warmth.
