With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Lanny D. Ickes. He was born June 8, 1953, and departed on February 19, 2024, He is survived by his wife of 38 years Robin Ickes; his children James Hemrick Jr., Michael (Baily) Hemrick, Leigh (Jason) Laney, Samantha (John) George, his grandchildren; Elijah, Justin, Raine, Sean, Andrew, Abel, Damion, and Anna, his sisters: Coletta, Melanie, and Tammy. 

He was preceded in death by his mother; Eileen Frantum Ickes and Father P. Ross Ickes. 

Lanny was a member of Homeworth Masonic Lodge 499. He worked as a general contractor most of his life before retiring from Fed Ex Ground after 17 years of service. He was cherished by his friends and family and will be sadly missed. Arrangements were entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
