Kenneth Grimes

Kenneth D. Grimes, age 83 of Alliance passed away July 5, 2021 at Altercare of Alliance. He was born October 22, 1937 to the late Louis V Grimes and Evelyn (Betz) McKee. He is survived by a daughter; Kimberly (Joe) Courtwright, son; Kenny Grimes , grandchildren; Wyatt Courtwright, Vera Courtwright, Joey Grimes, and great- granddaughter; Logan Brown. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Lou Grimes. Kenny worked as maintenance/ millwright at B& W Tube/ Alliance Midwest/PTC Alliance for 43 years. He always enjoyed taking about work and the shop. He was also a Veteran of The U.S. Navy Reserves. He served many years as a Smith Township constable. He worked many years as security for the Canfield fair. He was a lover of Harley motorcycles, antique cars, attending car shows, and frequenting flea markets. He enjoyed talking and bending anyone's ear that he could sharing old stories. Kenny had a big heart and was generous to others. He was very proud of his grandchildren.
