Joy Douglas

Joy A. Douglas, age 67 passed away at Mercy Medical Center on January 10, 2019.

She was born August 14, 1951 in Canton, Ohio to Grant and Gulia (Crosby) Orbin. Joy was a sales associate and loved animals, dogs, painting, and being with her grandchildren. She was a graduate of Hoover High School.

She is survived by two daughters: Heather Herning of North Benton and Jennifer Herning of Canton.

Son: Louis Douglas of Ohio.

Brother: Jan Orbin

Step Children: Tabitha and Samantha Herning.

Ten Grand Children and her loving companion: George Herning.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Douglas Sr:

Visitation will be held at Dean's Funeral Home on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 5 to 7 PM. Cremation will follow.
