Joseph Smith

Joseph Michael Smith age 34 passed away Saturday October 31, 2020 at 225pm on his favorite holiday, surrounded by his closest family members. Joseph is survived by his loving family including  his beautiful Daughter; Toryn Lee Smith, Mother; Jody (Wagner) Gillam, Step-Father (Dad); James D. Gillam, Brother; Matthew R. Wagner,  Best-Friend; Joshua Comm, and many cousins that he loved very much. Joseph served three years in the Army National Guard and was a student at Thiel and Kent State Universities. Joe was very active in sports and enjoyed playing; basketball, baseball, and wrestling. He made many friends playing sports. He also loved the great outdoors, being by the water, camping, and fishing. Joe had the ability to magically light up any room that he walked into whether it was his smile, his ability to make people laugh or his kind, giving, tender nature. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. Joe was of Christian faith and was baptized October 29, 2020 by Rev. Dale R. Anderson at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Joe was preceded in death by his Maternal Grand-Parents; Gordan Wagner and Betty (Shutler) Wagner, and Uncles; Alan and Terry Wagner. There will be no public services held.
