Sebring

Jonathan "Jolly" Augustein, born on April 21, 1992, in Alliance, passed away unexpectedly at home on January 19, 2025. His sudden departure has left a profound void in the lives of many who were fortunate enough to know him.

Jonathan was not just a remarkable individual; he was truly the life of the party. Those who were graced with his presence could instantly feel the energy shift in the room, for he had an unmatched ability to capture attention and spread joy. A passionate sports fan, Jonathan had his heart set on Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, as well as the Boston Red Sox, embodying the spirit of a devoted supporter. He also found great humor in the "Kill Tony Comedy Podcast," which reflected his love for laughter and good company.

The proudest accomplishment of Jonathan’s life was undoubtedly being a dedicated father to his beloved son, Jordan Michael Augustein. His commitment to fatherhood exemplified the love and compassion that characterized his relationships. Jonathan was blessed with a close-knit group of friends, including Eric Kidd, Ben Householder, Dale Handy, and Ashley Burns, who stood by him through thick and thin.

He is survived by his loving mother, Annette Augestein; father, John Corderio; step-dad, Steve Perkins; grandmothers, Lorren Houssel and Debbie Houssel; aunts, Colleen and Skyller Housel; and a cherished group of siblings that includes brothers Justin Ward, John Turney, Mason Cordeiro, and  BraxtonHoussel as well as sisters Jade Ward, Kayla, Liliana, and Rayna Cordeiro. His son, Jordan, along with Samantha Durenda, Jordan’s mother, will forever carry forward his legacy.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Chuck Ward. Grandparents; Ann Patterson and Flo and Richard Augustein .Friends; Tommy Johnson and Matthew Warner.

While Jonathan's path through life included the warmth of family and friends and a bit of stubbornness that made him uniquely himself, he will also be deeply missed by those who shared in his laughter and love. Memories of cruise nights in his Pontiac Grand Am and times spent with family and friends will remain etched in the hearts of many.

Remembering Jonathan is to celebrate a life fully lived. Though he may no longer walk amongst us, his spirit will undoubtedly leave a lasting warmth in the hearts of all who knew him. As we mourn the loss of our dear Jolly, we hold onto the joy he brought into our lives.
