North Benton; Johnny W. Boone age 59 passed away at his home on September 17, 2015 following a long illness with his wife at his side holding his hand. John was born in West Virginia to Homer G. and Mary M. (Collins) Boone. John loved helping people. He would do without to help someone else. He loved the outdoors and going camping. He loved spending time in the woods with the wildlife. He was a hard worker all his life. John worked for his grandpa timbering woods from the age of 15. He came to Ohio in 1976. He then worked for Schumachers in Hartville for 10 years. The job he loved best was driving cement truck for 23 years, for Stark Ready Mix in Canton. John was a member of Local 92 Teamsters of Canton, Ohio, and Laborers Local 125 of Youngstown, Ohio. John's grandmother on his mother's side was full Cherokee and John was 1/4 Cherokee. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte (Lindsey) Boone of five years. Mother Mary Boone of West Virginia. Daughter: Cuddles Boone of the home. Sons: Tim (Stacey) Boals of Sandusky, James Boals of North Benton, Thomas Boals of Sebring. Sisters: Debbie (Andy) Sudlow and Gleanna (Thurman) Christian of West Virginia and Mary (Butch) White of North Carolina. Brothers: Audley Boone of West Virginia and Jim (Agatha) Boone of North Benton. Grandchildren: Mackinzie Boals, Savanah Boals, and Timothy Boals Jr. of Sandusky and May Boals of North Benton. He was proceeded in death by his father Homer G. Boone, and brother Carl Boone. Calling hours will be held at Dean's Funeral Home on Monday September 21,2015 from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral will be at the funeral home on Tuesday September 22, 2015 at 1pm. Pastor Herb Smith will be officiating.
