John Winand

Alliance: John T. Winand age 81 passed away Monday November 23, 2015 at Belair Care Center following a long illness. He was born March 7, 1934 in Ashley, Ohio to John Ruby Winand and Rita Nell (Claypool) Winand. John had been a crane operator at the American Steel Factory in Alliance. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, and a member of the Alliance Senior Center, also an avid fan of Nascar. He is survived by two daughters: Cindy (Stanley) Roar and Tina (Barry) Scott all of Alliance. Two Sons; Tim Winand of Alliance, and Rick (Sandra) Winand of Southington. Grandchildren: Amanda Pittman and Kessler Millard both of Arizona, Amber Pittman of East Canton Jared Winand and Hope Winand both of Alliance, Kyle Millard of Washington, Lisa Carver of Homeworth and Katie Betker of Damascus. Great Grandchildren: Zaynah Pinter and Maliyah Winand both of Alliance, Owen and Raylee Millard of Washington, and Kessler Millard II and Kamren Millard of Arizona. Lots of nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Dorothy Winand, son: John Winand Jr. and sister Jean Shaw.
