John Stella

John R. Stella, age 76 went home with the Lord on June 8, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born May 25, 1942, in Canton, Ohio to Adolph and Lois (DuBar) Stella. Jon was a witty man who could fix anything. He was very thoughtful and caring towards everyone.  He enjoyed cars and classic rock music. He was a dedicated family man who loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed caring for his home, lawn and car, as well as joking around the camp fire with his dear friends.   He was a 1961 graduate of Alliance High School and retired from Buckeye Packaging. He worked there as a printing supervisor.

He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy (Pasco) Stella. They were married January 20, 1962. Daughter: Angie (Mike) Phelps of Salem. Son: Jonathan (Laura) Stella of Kettering. Brother: Michael (Mary) Stella of California. He has eight Grandchildren and one Great- Grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 11:00 am at Winona Friends Church. Pastor Rusty Savage will conduct the service. A Private burial will take place at Highland Memorial Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Winona Friends Church (Building Fund) at 4615 Whinnery Road, Winona, Ohio 44493.

Arrangements are by Dean's Funeral Home in Sebring Ohio. Friends may send condolences and sign the guest register online at www. deansfuneralhome.com.
