Jody A Farley

June 24, 1958 — August 31, 2024

Berlin Center, Ohio

Jody A. Farley went home to be with the Lord Saturday, August 31st, after a battle with a short illness. She was born June 24, 1958 in Alliance Ohio to Donald and Mary Ellen Toussant and lived in the area her whole life. Throughout her life Jody touched many lives through her hard work and caring personality. She worked at Dehoff's flower shop for 12 years and then Alliance Community Hospital where she retired after 25 years of service. She shared her love of nature, waterfalls, and especially the ocean with those around her, and was quick to offer gardening tips if ever you needed the advice from her green thumb. Jody especially loved hosting pool days and spending her time with her family, and if you were ever a guest in her kitchen you would know Jody could cook like no other. Jody was a woman of faith and helped many people throughout her life. She was a strong advocate for A.A., not only attending many meetings but also was a great role model and mentor to those in the program. She was an active member of her church, New Baltimore Community Church. Jody was the most kind hearted person who lit up the whole room with her smile. She will be missed by many. “Sweetest of the sunflowers, yeah, you're the sun to me” Jody is survived by her siblings; Mike Toussant, Gary (Nancy)Toussant, Trudy (Jeff) France, Jean (John) McGorty, and two daughters Nicole Steede (Brian Kellogg) and Lindsey (Bobby) Braybon, and one son Corey (Angie) Bailey, ten grandchildren; Claire (David), Macala, Taylor, Blake, Dalton, Lincoln, Liam, Alex, Abby, and Ethan, two great grandchildren Ava and Haven, and her life partner Michael Kerns. Preceding her in death are her parents Donald and Mary Ellen Toussant, her brother Marty Toussant, and son Bradford Bailey. A celebration of life is scheduled for Tuesday, September 10th from 4-8pm with a service being held at 5:00 at Almost Home Event Center. 230 S 12th St. Sebring, OH. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean’s Funeral Home.
