Joanne Myers

Joanne Myers, age 81, passed away way too soon on January 21, 2023, at Green Meadows Wellness Center. She was born June 15, 1941, in Richmond, Virginia to the late Herman and Vivian (Layne) Glass.

Joanne will always be remembered for her kind nature, laugh, and her love for her family and the Golden Girls. She loved going to concerts with her late husband. She was fond of country music.
She will leave behind to cherish her memories, Daughter: Valerie (Kenny) Myers Clark. Sons: Keith (Crystal) Myers, Glenn and Donnie Myers. 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Myers. Daughter: Jennifer Myers and Sister: Shirley Wright.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 12 noon. The service will be held at Dean’s Funeral Home, with Marge Hazen officiating. Friends and family may pay their respect, from 11 am till 12 noon, prior to the service. Burial will take place at Fairmount Cemetery.
