Joan Hendricks

Cleveland; Joan (Covert) Hendricks age 51 passed away at Cleveland Clinic on August 20, 2017. She was born May 1, 1966 in Salem, Ohio to Howard and Janet (Hart) Covert Joan loved making jewelry, cooking, animals, spending time with her nieces and nephews and was an avid reader. She is survived by her father Howard Covert of Lisbon. Her husband George Hendricks of Cleveland, step-sister Kathy (Christopher) Leeper of Canfield. Brothers; Douglas (Joyce) Covert of Winona ,Dennis (Shelly) Covert of Leetonia, and step-brother; Eric Kibler. Nieces and nephews; Becky (Artur ) Covert of Akron, Doug (Missy) Covert of Salem, and Jack and Brian Leeper. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Janet Covert and step-mother Joyce (Kibler) Covert. A Memorial Service will be held Sat. August 26,2017 at St. Ann's Catholic Church at 11 a.m. with Father Dyer officiating. Friends may pay their respect from 10 to 11 before the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association
