Homeworth: Jerry L. Sutton, age 73, passed away unexpectedly at home on March 15, 2017. He was born October 6, 1943 in Canton, Ohio to the late Glenwood and Bette (Widener) Sutton. Jerry served in the National Guard after high school and worked as an operator and supervisor at PCC Airfoils, retiring after 42 years. He loved singing and playing his guitar, coaching softball, his vintage lawn tractors, and especially bribing hugs from his ever growing list of grandchildren with a bottomless tin of mints. Completely dedicated in life to providing for his friends and family, Jerry recently decided to extend this generosity beyond his death by giving everything he has left in one final gift of organ donation. Jerry is survived by his wife, Sandi (Covert) Sutton; daughter, Shannon (David) De Sanzo of Homeworth; sons, Sean (Carole) Sutton of Homeworth, and Seth (Jennifer) Sutton of Alliance. Jerry enjoyed 13 grandchildren; Ashley, Brittany, Camryn, David, Jacob, Jordan, Jada, Jocelyn, Brenden, Mya, Asa, Eli, and Ezra, and one great granddaughter, Madison. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Sheron Cessna and Shelly Byrne. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date at the family home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lifebanc at 4775 Richmond Rd, Cleveland, Ohio 44128, in Jerry's name. Arrangements are by Dean's Funeral Home, Sebring, Ohio (330)-938-2744 Loved ones may register online and sign the guest book at www.deansfuneralhome.com.
