Janice Roosa

Janice Roosa 75 of Alliance, returned to her Lord and Savior on Saturday May 27, 2017. Janice was born on September 9, 1941 in Norton, Virginia to Gaynell and William Brooks. She enjoyed spending her time camping with friends and family, fishing and her beloved animals. She was a member of Alliance Freewill Baptist Church.

Survived by husband Charles Roosa, whom she married on March 24, 1979; which they combined their two families of Robin (Carl) Rhodes, Janice Bell, Rudy (Pam) White, Rodney White, William (Nancy) Roosa, Candy (Rick) Metzgar, and their granddaughter raised together Michelle White; 19 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; mother Gaynell Brooks; siblings Michael Brooks, Morgan Brooks, Dorothy Gibson, Beverly Lawson, and Robin Wilson; and her lifelong friend Ann Eisner.

Proceeding her in death were father William Brooks; siblings Wayne Brooks, Judy Rockel; step children Reggie Roosa, Robin Roosa, and Neal Roosa; one granddaughter; two great grandson and a great granddaughter.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday June 3, 2017 at Alliance Freewill Baptist Church at 11a.m. with Pastor Jimmie Holbrook officiating. Arraignments are by Dean's Funeral Home, Sebring, Ohio (330)938-2744. Family request for special thanks to the amazing care Janice received at Altercare of Alliance and caretaker, Tina Bailey.
