Weinland, Janet Mae nee Parks, 92, died September 5, at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, OH after a long and fulfilling life.

She was born May 6, 1926 to John and Lewlou Kressler Parks (both deceased) of Bethlehem, PA. She received a B.A. in Education from Moravian College for Women, also of Bethlehem. She taught high school French and mathematics in several school districts. She was a talented seamstress , sewing beautiful dresses for her daughters and making lovely handicrafts as gifts for all. Other joys for her were teaching Sunday school classes and leading Bible study groups.

Janet was the loving and most beloved wife of Rev. William Joseph (deceased) for sixty-five years and eleven days. She was the proud and devoted mother of Sharon (Peter) Georges of Mentor, OH, Judi Thompson (deceased), Barbara Holmes of Gastonia, NC, and Anne (David) Miller of Mentor, OH. She was the cherished grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of seventeen.

Funeral services at Dean’s Funeral Home 256 W. Ohio Ave. Sebring, OH 44672 on Tuesday September 11 at two p.m. with burial at Sebring Grandview Cemetery.
