Janet Griffith

Janet R. Griffith, age 65, left this world much too soon on June 27, 2023, passing away at Akron General Medical Center. She was born May 9, 1958, in Youngstown, Ohio to Michael and Stella Linden. She was preceded in death by her parents. Left behind to continue her legacy and cherish her memories are her broken-hearted family. Including her husband, Scott, of 36 years. They were married on May 23, 1987. Daughter; Erin, and three sons; Ethan Michael Henry, Jeremiah, Nicholas Griffith, and granddaughter Lillian Griffith. Brothers; James (Carol) Linden, John (Polly) Linden, Kenneth (Elaine) Linden.

Janet was a graduate of Ursuline High School. Her hobbies included cooking, gardening, and fishing. Janet was a people person, with a fun, loving, welcoming personality that lit up any room. She enjoyed her time spent with family and friends, those memories were precious and most important to her.  A Celebration of Janet’s life will be held at the family home in Salem on Sunday July 9, 2023, at 2pm. In honor of Janet please think of her while doing one of her favorite activities, share a smile with a stranger, let others know what they mean to you as our time here on earth passes by way too quickly.
