James “Dallas” Montgomery Is at peace as of 10/6/2019. James was born 3/6/1942 to the late Lauren C. Montgomery Sr. and Grace Rhome.
He was retired from McQuilken Lumber where he worked for over 30 years. James had a big heart and was loved by many.
He is survived by Daughter Diana (Steven) Phillis and son, Dallas “Scott” Montgomery. 5 Grandchildren Michael (Jean) Phillis, Matthew Roesti, Adam (Shannon) Phillis, Miranda (Tyler) Carr and Andrew Montgomery. 9 great grandchildren Jacob and Makayla Phillis, Anthony Fusco, Liam, Isaiah and Salem Roesti, Serenity, Landon, and Greyson Carr, 1 brother Lauren C (Phyllis) Montgomery Sr. and a bunch of nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his wife Pauletta J (Smith) Montgomery whom he was married to for 44 yrs. 1 brother Robert (Margaret) McCaskey and 2 nephews Terry Montgomery and Mark McCaskey.
Services are being held at the Damascus Friends Church Thursday October 10th with calling hours at 10 am and funeral service beginning at eleven. James will be laid to rest at Highland memorial Cemetery.
