Jacob Shewell

Alliance:

Jacob Allen Jeffrey Shewell (33) of Alliance, Ohio died peacefully at his home on Tuesday

August 7, 2018. He is survived by his mother Christie Ailing of Alliance, his father Wayne

(Kathy) Shewell of Alliance, siblings, Ashley (Jamey) Runion, Maddison Beach, George Beach,

and Kaylee Young, nieces and nephew, Hannah, Bridgette and Brock Runion, and Adeline

Beach all of Alliance. His grandparents George Ailing of Alliance and Evelyn Shewell of

Rootstown. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather

Robert Shewell and grandmother Regina Ailing. Jake had struggles in his life but always turned

to his faith in God and never wavered his love of Christ. He loved unconditionally, and would do

anything for anybody in need (literally giving the shirt off his back). He was a very hard worker,

loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and hunting were his favorite pastimes. He excelled at tree

climbing, and was a crafter/builder. Jake was a wonderful person under his struggles and was

so much more than them. He will be missed by many. A memorial will be held on Saturday

August 18, 2018 1:00pm at Alliance Baptist Temple 1441 W. Vine St. Alliance, Ohio. In lieu of

flowers, donations in Jake’s name can be made to the Alliance Baptist Temple.
