Hugh M. Thorne, age 75 passed away October 6, 2021 at Trumbull Medical Center in Warren, Ohio. He was born January 26, 1946 to the late Hugh M. Thorne Sr. and Virginia Thorne. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister; Diane Morehead. He is survived by three sons; Allen (Stacy Jo) Thorne, Michael (April) Thorne, Matthew (Brittany Bush) Thorne, sisters; Patricia Bohn, Linda Johnston, grandchildren; Cerina, Noah, Christopher, Addyson, Klayten, Jocelynne, Sybill, Trey, Veronica, and friend; Bev Smith. Hugh was a lifetime member of the Lake Milton Post 737 and past District Commander. He was also a member of The Lake Milton Baptist Temple. His hobbies included woodworking, fishing, metal detecting, and using his green thumb abilities. He could grow anything. Visitation will take place Monday October 11, 2021 at Almost Home Event Center, 230 S12th Street Sebring from 2-4pm. Salem AM Vets Honor guard to present military honors at 345pm with funeral following at 4pm with Pastor Joseph Griffis officiating.
