Howard Shortridge (Gumby)

Howard K.(Gumby) Shortridge age 61, passed away Monday October 12, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 28, 1959 to the late Howard B. Shortridge and Sharlene T. (Johnson) Shortridge. He is survived by his Daughters; Lisa (Kevin Tucker) Shortridge and Heather (Pat McAfee) Shortridge. Sons; Brian (Tiffany Lautenheiser) Shortridge, Sisters; Theresa Ann Shortridge, Cynthia (Shortridge) Miller, Lillian (Tyrone) Sholes, Kimberly Shortridge, Brothers; Troy (Kim) Kerns, Robert Shortridge, Grandchildren: Kameron, Quiana, Kyron, Aperele, Alex, Brayden, Alyssia, many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends. Ex-Wife and caregiver; Brenda (Cunningham) Shortridge. Howard was a graduate of West Branch High school. He also was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He loved his country and was proud to serve. He was a member of the Romanian Society. He enjoyed fabricating motorcycles, woodworking, playing guitar, playing bass, and listening to blues music. A Celebration of Life will take place at The Roma Society at 570 Warehouse St. Alliance on Sunday October 24th from 2-6 pm.
