Ginger Yarian, 75, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025, in Louisville, Ohio. Born on July 23, 1949, in Alliance, Ohio, she lived a life rooted in faith, family, and a deep appreciation for the natural world.
Ginger was the beloved wife of the late Delbert Yarian and the cherished daughter of Daniel Johnston and Helen Brobst Johnston. She was also lovingly raised by her stepmother Kitty Johnston. Ginger’s early years were shaped by her close-knit family and her upbringing in Ohio.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Ginger is survived by her daughters Cindy Koch (Robert) and Melissa Bruno (Tony), who brought immense joy to her life. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren Oren Carr and McCoy Yoder (Donavan), as well as her great-grandchildren Easton Yoder and Madison Yoder.
She was preceded in death by her brother Paul Johnston and his wife Laura Johnston; her stepsister Joyce Clark; brothers-in-law Keith Yarian and Andrew Estock; along with other dear family members who held special places in her heart.
Ginger was a woman of faith who found spiritual community at Beloit Friends Church. Earlier in life, she dedicated time to working with the Children's Ministry at Alliance Friends Church while raising her daughters—a role that reflected both her nurturing spirit and commitment to guiding young hearts.
Her love for nature was evident in the quiet joy she found outdoors. Whether admiring a peaceful landscape or spending time with her favorite animal—cats—Ginger found comfort and companionship in the simple beauty of the world around her.
May Ginger Yarian’s memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
