Gerald Greene

Gerald Greene went home peacefully May 10, 2022, at his home in North Benton, Ohio, surrounded by his wife and family. He was born July 22, 1940, in Alliance, Ohio to Douglas and Elaine Greene. He attended Alliance Public Schools and spent his entire life in the Alliance/ North Benton area (his corner of the world). He went to work at age 16 working in various jobs. He worked for many years at Transue and Williams until retiring. He enjoyed living by the lake, riding his golf cart, and eating out. He is survived by his wife; Gloria Greene, daughters; Jeri Renee, Traci Ryan, stepdaughters; Lori Green and Louise Hoover, five sisters; Judy Snyder of Alliance, Virginia (Gary) Guntz (Ginger) of Las Vegas. Norma Jean Abreggg of Tennesse, Cheri Holly of Columbus, Susan Greene of Canton, Brother; Robert, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Doris Center, parents, Douglas and Elaine (Creamer) Greene, and brother Richard. He was a good and loving husband, father, and brother. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held July 23, 2022, from 1-5 pm at 9446 Treasure Cove North Benton.
