Alliance:
In loving memory of George R. Lozier Sr., who was born on June 28th, 1943, and passed away on September 12th, 2024. George's life was a testament to his dedication to family, community, and faith. He leaves behind his beloved spouse, Beatrice Ann Lozier, whom he married on April 25th, 1964. He is also survived by his sister Barbara Hrovatic. George was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Chester and Margaret Alice Lozier. George and Beatrice had two sons, George Robert Lozier Jr. (married to Diana Michelle) and Ronald Lozier (married to Vicki). Their grandchildren Samantha Anderson (Zach), Stephen Moore (Lynnita), Catherine Clark, Bobby Moore, Elizabeth McSwiggen (Andrew), Zachary McSwiggen (Sheridan), Kevin and Andrew Lozier, and Stephanie Hamrick (Derreck). His great-grandchildren, Lydia, Ellie, Laci, Oakley, Sophia, Luca, Eva, Brently, David, Taryn, Ariana, and Greysen, will hear stories of their great-grandfather's kindness and love for life. George's 36 years as a manager at Kmart speak to his work ethic and leadership, while his role as a past president of the Alliance Jaycees and director at Lexington United Methodist reflect his commitment to service and community. George found joy in fishing, bird watching, mowing, and simply being in nature. His participation in the East Ohio Emmanuel Emmaus Walks was a source of spiritual fulfillment and community connection. George's life was one of purpose and impact, touching many hearts and inspiring those around him to live with generosity, compassion, and laughter. As we bid farewell to George R. Lozier Sr., we celebrate a life well-lived and honor the profound influence he had on his family and community. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to guide us. Rest in peace, dear George, until we meet again. Visitation will be held September 18, 2024, from 5-7pm at Dean's Funeral Home, 256 W. Ohio Avenue in Sebring. Funeral service will take place at 11am September 19, 2024 with pastor Lee Peters officiating at Dean's Funeral Home with burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
