Gary M. Porter, age 72 of Sebring passed away July 18^th at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 15, 1950, to Raymond and Nancy (Johnson) Porter. He is survived by his wife, Jet. They were married on December 20, 1989. A daughter Catherine Porter, grandchild, Zatheria Burson, sisters; Linda Koerner, Jean Porter, and brothers; Terry and John Porter. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister; Beverly Porter, brothers; Dave, Raymond, Carl, and Jack Porter. Gary was a member of the United States Navy. His hobbies included fishing, camping, boating, hunting, and experiencing the great outdoors. He also enjoyed oldies music, listening to records and spending time with his friends. A Celebration of his life will take place Tuesday July 25^th from 1-2pm at Almost Home Event Center, 230 S 12^th Street Sebring, with a funeral service following at 2pm and the Military Honor guard providing military honors at 3pm. The burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
