Gaila Flowers

ALLIANCE; Gaila D. Flowers, age 60 passed away April 19, 2016 at Alliance Community Hospital following a long illness. She was born March 13, 1956 in Alliance, Ohio to Lawrence and Thelma (Tice) Williamson. Gaila was a member of the New Hope Church of God, and a member of the Mile Branch Grange. She graduated from Alliance High School in 1974, and attended Kent State East Liverpool for occupational theropy. She is survived by her husband of 24 years Alan Flowers of the home. Two sisters; Pam Baum of Westville, and Patricia (Robert) Swaggard of Maximo. Sister- in-law: Cindy (Ron) Smith of Beloit Nieces and Nephews; B J Swaggard, Steve Swaggard, Elizabeth Swaggard, Brittnay Baum, Marie Smith, Jennifer Garner, Rachael Smith, Jill Summers, and Rebecca Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be held Saturday April 23, 2016 at Dean's Funeral Home at 4 p.m. with Pastor Don Nicely officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. A Grange Service will take place at 3;30. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to help with the funeral expense.
