Estella L Smith

Estella L. Smith, born on July 21, 1937, in Beloit, Ohio, departed this life on September 5, 2024, at Altercare of Louisville. A devoted family woman, Estella's legacy is characterized by her dedication to her loved ones and the joy she found in farm life.

Throughout her life, Estella her hobbies, which included sewing, gardening, baking, and cooking. She was known for her storytelling, often sharing cherished anecdotes about her life experiences. Her keen eye for detail was evidenced by her work proofreading and editing for the newspaper, and she took great pleasure in creating her own recipes, leaving a culinary legacy for her family.

Estella is survived by her loving daughter, Heather (Jim) Whitten, and sons, Robert (Debra) Smith, Charles A. Smith, and Craig Smith. She is also remembered by her sisters, Eleanor Pitt and Margaret and Naomi Hunter, and her brother, Edwin (Diana) Hunter. Adding to her legacy are her 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, who carry forward her spirit and values.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cloyd Smith, brothers John Hunter and Durward Hunter, and her beloved parents, Joseph Herbert Hunter and Evelyn V. Bandy.

Visitation will be held on September 14, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Dean's Funeral Home located at 256 W Ohio Ave, Sebring, OH 44672. The burial will take place the following day, September 16, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Beloit, Ohio.

Estella L. Smith leaves behind a legacy of love, commitment, and a life well-lived, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Arrangements are entrusted to Dean's Funeral Home Sebring, Ohio.
