Elsie K Krannich

Elsie “Kaye” Forshey Krannich, age 65, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024. She was born on November 22, 1959, in Alliance, Ohio, to Paul and Opal Forshey. She graduated from West Branch High School, class of 1978.

Kaye is survived by her husband of 44 years, Fred, who was also her devoted caregiver in the last years of her life; her children, Michael (Rachael) Krannich of Morgantown, West Virginia, Eric (Tori) Krannich of Salem, Ohio, and Kari Kimble of New Middletown, Ohio; her cherished grandchildren, Emma, Ava, Sophia, Knox, and Demi; and her sisters, Saundra Gayle Monea of Louisville, Ohio and Judith Taylor of Cotacachi, Ecuador.

Preceding Kaye in death were her parents, paternal grandparents Charles “Russ” and Clementine Forshey, and her maternal grandparents Henry and Elsie Bowlin.

The family would like to thank the team at Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care of Uniontown, Ohio for their care of Kaye in her final months.

Per Kaye’s wishes, a private family service will be held at a future date.
