Edna leaves behind a loving brood, including her devoted daughters: Margaret Yoho, Bonnie (Dale) Rogers, Helen (Steven) Shell, and Carolyn (Dan) Stanley; her sons, Charles Smith, Robert Smith, and Richard Smith; and several stepchildren, all of whom have been profoundly shaped by her warmth.
She is also survived by her beloved sister, Joyce Shaver, and a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry forward her legacy of love and compassion.
The echoes of Edna’s laughter and her loving spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Carl Duke, her mother, Margaret Coe Hill, her father, John Hill, her beloved daughter, Christine Taylor, and her dear sister, Dorothy Bell, as well as her brother-in-law, Eugene Shaver, and her darling fur baby, Coco. Also among her departed is her ex-husband, Charles Smith.
