Edna Behner

Salem:

Edna Behner, age 92, was called home on December 28, 2020. She was greatly loved and will be missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, whom she married in 1950 and her daughter-in-law, Lynn. She is survived by her children: Debra / Roger Elder, Gary Behner, and Donna / Darrell Baker. In addition she leaves her grandchildren: Rebecca / John Byzon, Daniel / Maria Elder, Courtney / Seth Suggett, Brent / Emily Baker, and Luke Behner; plus 6 great-grandchildren.

Edna retired with 37 years of service at Ohio Bell Telephone Company.  Edna was a dedicated volunteer at All Childrens Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida with 1,500 hours of caring for children.  She volunteered for the Special Olympics in Florida.  Edna and Donald enjoyed many years of traveling, cruises, and camping with their family.

A private family service will be held. The family thanks the caregivers from Visiting Angels and Southern Care Hospice.
