Douglas D. Williams age 62 of Alliance, Ohio passed away on May 26, 2019 at his home while surrounded by his loved ones.
Douglas was born February 4, 1957 in Canton, Ohio to Earl B. Williams and Irene M. (Kincaid) Williams. He was a retired professional truck driver for over 35 years. Douglas was a cowboy at heart and a fan of NASCAR. He admired the Tadmore Shriners and their cause. He was always there to help his family, friends, and anybody that might need him. He was a dedicated family man. He had a passion for shopping, especially for his family.
He is survived by his mother, Irene (Kincaid) Williams. Wife: Linda (Wilson) Williams, whom he married August 3, 1985. Daughter: Melinda (Ryan) Eckert of Alliance. Sister: Linda (Joe) Amis of Canton. Bea Kelly of Louisville. Brother: Dennis and Jeffrey Williams of Canton. Granddaughter: Raelyn Eckert, along with several nieces and nephews, including Eric (April), Michelle (Richard Dixon), Chelsea and Melissa. Special friends Ray, Fred, Noah.
After cremation, a memorial service will be held at Dean's Funeral home on July 6, 2019 at 12 Noon.. Pastor Michael Ping will officiate the service. Friends and family may pay their respects from 10 am till 12 noon, prior to the service.
