Douglas Adams

Deerfield: Douglas L. Adams, age 63 passed away at his home, April 24,2017, following a long illness. He was born August 18,1953 in Ravenna, Ohio to Leon and Mildred (Jones) Adams. He had been employed as a press operator at West Rock for 44 years. Douglas loved his family, boating, ATV'S, and fishing. He was a 1971 graduate of Southeast High School and was a member of Deerfield Methodist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Denice (Durr) Adams. Sons: Lee (Shawna) Durr of Virginia Beach and Matthew (Ryan) Lawson of D.C. Brothers: Gary "Tim" (Joyce) Adams of Deerfield, and Dennis (Suzie) Adams of Colorado. Grandchildren: Hunter Durr, Adrianna Durr and Christian Durr, all of Virginia Beach. Three niece and five nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
